You will Fail
I’m sorry that I have to tell you something you won’t want to hear.
You will fail.
I know it sucks, But you will.
You will fail because of mistakes you’ve made.
You will fail because of something that has nothing to do with you.
You will fail and then realize that you were very lucky.
You will fail and wish you were never born.
But whether you like it or not, whether it feels good or not, you will still fail.
You’re probably wondering why I’m telling you this?
I mean you come here and read this blog to feel good about yourself, to learn about how to bring more balance into your life, your body, and your mind.
Why Toku are you being such an abhorrent downer?
I’m being such a downer because failure is necessary. Failing means that you tried, that you put it all on the line, that you gave it everything, but it didn’t work out.
But it’s ok because failure isn’t the enemy, lying to yourself is. It’s ludicrous to pretend that failure isn’t possible, because failure happens to everyone.
Moreover, success and failure don’t really matter. They are an illusion. They’re only a temporary state of affairs.
What really matters is that you follow your heart. What really matters is that you respond to what the universe is asking of you. What really matters is that you embody the deep authentic wisdom and compassion of the life you have been given.
So don’t wait to fail, fail now, and fail often. But no matter what, don’t stop stepping forward into your precious life.
